    The Forgotten Garden is an oil-to-milk cleanser that invites you into a hidden place, where wild herbs and botanicals thrive in quiet abundance.

    Step into a tapestry of delicate herbal notes, where bright Lemon Myrtle and Lemon Balm mingle with the soft floral lift of Geranium, the calming embrace of Chamomile and Yarrow, and the grounding clarity of Sage. Together they evoke the untamed magic of a garden once forgotten.

    This silky oil glides across the skin, dissolving light makeup, SPF and daily impurities, before emulsifying into a delicate milk on contact with warm water. The result is a gentle yet thorough cleanse that leaves your skin feeling soft, refreshed and ready for your next skincare step.

    Formulated with a nourishing base of botanical oils, including Moringa, Meadowfoam, Jojoba, Castor, Rice Bran and Evening Primrose, The Forgotten Garden brings both indulgence and care to your daily routine.

    120ml (Vegan)

    Directions: With clean, dry hands, massage 1 to 3 pumps of The Forgotten Garden thoroughly onto a dry face to dissolve light makeup, SPF and daily impurities. Add a splash of warm water and continue massaging to emulsify the oil into a beautiful light milk. Rinse thoroughly. The Forgotten Garden may also be removed with a warm, damp face cloth.

    A spa in a bottle!

    La Belle Lune makes the best cleansers and The Forgotten Garden is no exception. The herbal and slightly floral scent immediately makes me think of a spa and has a calming effect. This oil removes mascara and waterproof eyeliner with ease. It also has amazing slip and I only need two pumps for remove all traces of makeup and sunscreen. I start on dry skin and massage for a minute before emulsifying with water for a clean rinse. Another beautiful product!

    This oil is amazing

    This delicate exquisite oil has become my favourite. It goes on my skin like a light veil and delights my senses with a fresh bouquet of herbal scents. It rinses off beautifully and leaves my skin feeling completely cleansed, fresh and pampered. What a delicious experience. I absolutely love this oil and look forward to my daily ritual.

    I love The Forgotten Garden! The scent transports me to a dewy morning on the English countryside :D. It took off all my make up and like with the cleansing balm I add a little water to emulsify and either wash off the cleanser with my hands or a wash cloth. My skin feels moisturized and fresh after rinsing. Please do this scent in a face oil, its so lovely!

    A beautiful oil

    This oil has a beautiful fragrance and as all things La Belle, has an energy that makes it really special. I did the patch test, but unfortunately my face doesn’t like the oils. I think in part this might be because it doesn’t emulsify terribly well, so you can’t remove it all thoroughly. I’m gutted that it doesn’t suit me, but I’ll do a lovely swap with my daughter!

    Thank you so much for your lovely words about the fragrance and feel, we’re always so grateful when customers connect with the magic of La Belle Lune, however I’m so sorry to hear it wasn’t quite the perfect match for your skin.

    For the emulsification, adding a little warm water gradually can really help, lightly massaging each splash into the top layer of oil, before adding more (rather than rising off in one go). This allows the surfactants time to turn the oil into a milk and rinse away cleanly, our testers (and myself) find this method works beautifully.
